Jamango! raises $2.5M for no-code game creation platform

Jamango!, a platform for creating games without needing to code, has secured $2.5 million in funding. This boost will help speed up their development before they go global later this year. Their success stems from being easy to use, letting people design and customize games using simple blocks and a no-code editor.

The gaming industry is seeing a surge in demand for user-made content and browser-based gaming, which is expected to grow by $63 billion by 2027. Jamango! aims to capitalize on this trend by focusing on browser-first and web-based gaming, rather than downloads.

The funding came from investors like Elkstone, Delta Partners, and notable angel investors like Brian Caulfield and Brendan O’Driscoll. Conor Sheahan is joining as Chairman. The company also has experienced advisors, including former executives from Scopely and Roblox.

Adam Dalton, Co-Founder of Jamango!, stated that their goal is to empower the next generation of game creators. They’ve built an engine that makes creating games and worlds easy and social, accessible to anyone with a web browser.

Investor Rich Barnwell from Delta Partners expressed excitement about supporting Jamango!’s mission to create a new platform for user-generated content in instant gaming, inspired by successful platforms like Roblox and games like Minecraft.
