Levels Raises $10M in Series A Extension, Expands Health Tech Platform

Levels, a New York City-based health tech startup, has secured an additional $10 million in Series A Extension funding to further develop its software platform, which helps users understand the impact of food on their health. The funding round included $3 million raised through crowdfunding from over 2,000 investors, along with contributions from Long Journey, a16z, and other prominent investors.

Founded in 2019 by CEO Sam Corcos and Co-founder Josh Clemente, Levels has quickly become a leader in personalized metabolic health. The company’s platform offers members personalized feedback on their metabolic health using biomarkers like real-time blood sugar, facilitated by optional continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), alongside blood testing, nutritional intake tracking, and sleep and exercise data. The Levels app also incorporates AI-powered food logging, macro tracking, and accountability features such as Habit Loops, helping users identify which foods and lifestyle choices best support their health.

With more than 700 million glucose data points and hundreds of thousands of food logs, Levels leverages its vast dataset to deliver personalized insights to its members. The company’s expert advisory panel further validates these insights, ensuring that users receive accurate and actionable health information.

The newly raised funds will be used to expand Levels’ operations and business reach, allowing the company to serve a broader audience and continue its mission of improving metabolic health. This latest crowdfunding effort marks Levels’ second successful campaign, following a previous $5 million raise as part of its original $38 million Series A, which involved over 1,400 investors.
